Welcome to Kado Essence. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview

These Terms govern your use of the Kado Essence website, including purchases, subscriptions, event bookings, and custom design services. By using our site, you agree to comply with these Terms.
 

2. Services Offered

Kado Essence provides:

  • Ikebana floral subscriptions (currently available only in the Greater Toronto Area)

  • Custom-designed printed products

  • Event planning and immersive retreat experiences

3. Orders & Payments

All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as listed at checkout. Custom orders may require additional processing time, which will be communicated via email.

4. Subscription Terms

Ikebana subscriptions are hand-delivered within the GTA by Kado Essence staff. Subscription plans may be seasonal or annual. You may cancel or modify your subscription by contacting us at info@kadoessence.com.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Printed products are shipped via local delivery services such as Uber Deliver, Purolator, or UPS. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full details.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Due to the nature of our products and services, cancellations and refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery or service date to discuss any concerns.

7. Event Cancellation Policy

  • Client-Initiated Cancellations:

    • Cancellations made 7 or more days before the scheduled event will receive a full refund.

    • Cancellations made within 4–6 days before the event will receive a 25% refund.

    • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event are non-refundable due to the preparation and resource commitments already made.

  • Kado Essence-Initiated Cancellations:

    • In the rare event that we must cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, venue issues, safety concerns), clients will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to events@kadoessence.com.

8. Event Liability Disclaimer

By booking or attending a Kado Essence event or retreat, you acknowledge and accept the following:

  • Kado Essence is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property that may occur during the event.

  • Participants are responsible for their own well-being and must inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or accessibility needs in advance.

  • Kado Essence reserves the right to modify or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will offer rescheduling or partial refunds where applicable.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including text, images, designs, and branding—is the property of Kado Essence and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm Kado Essence or its users. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

11. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your information.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated revision date. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
